Novatia Tryer is a commingling of small group goings-ons. It is a flight from the rational and the linear towards an associative mode of meaning-making. The subconscious is embraced  as a mode of knowing and unpredictability as a means to form. Mayo and her collaborators navigate the permeable constructs of “inside” and “outside.” It is a meditation on shifting terrain.
