Virtual HATHA YOGA WITH JULIE
Thursdays 10-11am (EST)
This hour-long class is a steady, calming practice of yoga that uses gentle movement and modifications, as needed, to tune into the body and quiet the mind. We will practice some of the yoga basics including deep relaxation at the end of each session allowing for a deepening of our mind-body connection. This class is good for those new to yoga, as well as regular practitioners who would like to slow down and get grounded.
**Participants will need a yoga mat. Optional are 1-2 yoga blocks and a blanket. (helpful but not required).

Julie completed her RYT-200 training through Integral Yoga in Buckingham, Virginia. She has taught yoga for over a decade and has supplemented her practice and teaching in studies of Anusara and Restorative yoga. She is also a certified teacher of Skinner Releasing Technique ™, a somatic movement practice. Julie has taught in a variety of venues and to diverse student populations, most recently at Lucky Lotus (Brooklyn) and All Yoga (Queens) and to private clients online. Her greatest joy in teaching yoga is offering students an opportunity for self-care and a genuine experience of the power of slowing down. Julie, a native of Richmond, is also a choreographer and performer, and currently lives in New York.
